San Francisco Giants @ Colorado Rockies (game 2)

This was the final game of the series between the Giants and Rockies, and it was another night game, starting at 6.40pm, as most of the Rockies' night games do.

I just about made it in time for this game, after the laundry took longer than expected to complete.

It was fairly low scoring, although San Francisco led throughout much of the game, with a home run by Hunter Pence (pictured) helping the score along.

However, in the bottom of the 9th inning, Colorado managed to rally against a string of Giants relievers to score 3 runs to end up winning the game 6-5, which made the Rockies fans deliriously happy (those who hadn't left in despair at being 5-3 down, anyway)

Here's a photo of Dinger, waving the Colorado banner.

Although I've only seen the Giants here twice this week, I'll be seeing them another three times in San Francisco Wednesday to Friday of next week.

In fact, those are my next baseball games, as I have two day trips out of Denver upcoming, and then the LA Rams @ San Francisco 49ers game down in Santa Clara on Monday night before heading up to San Francisco.  In the end I switched my hotel to one in Oakland.  It's less convenient as it means I'll need to use BART to get to and from San Francisco all the time, but it's saving around £400 to do so, due to the ridiculously high prices in San Francisco.
