Seattle to Denver

I had to leave relatively early for my flight to Denver.  Fortunately, for this flight I had fast track security, so I didn't have to be quite so early, although I remembered that there's a long trek through the car park at the airport after you get off the light rail train, so I left plenty of time for the journey by leaving at 8.30am.  It was quite a grey morning, but dry - here's a picture from one of the west-facing windows in my room (with a bit of a reflection).  The stadia are on the left and the docks and bay on the right.

The flight pushed back early again, and was scheduled to just a minute over 2 hours for the flight down to Denver and it duly did.

The signposting for the new rail link to downtown Denver is quite poor.  It doesn't mention rail at all - you have to know to follow the signs to the Westin hotel and to the 'Transit Center'.  The tickets are $9 for the 40 minute ride - which is far cheaper than any other way of getting there.  I imagine it must be hitting the business of the shuttle buses quite hard.
