I've finally got all my accommodation booked at the last minute for this year's trip to the USA.
As you'd expect, the hotels in San Francisco are not cheap, however by staying for 5 nights or longer, I can get a special Long Stay rate, which is $100 per night less than the normal daily rate!
The only night I don't need a hotel for is the overnight flight back to Washington DC.
The flights are already dealt with, so that leaves just the two train journeys. The journey on to Baltimore after landing in Washington DC in the early morning I'll just buy a walk-up fare on the day, as I can't be sure what time I'll be ready to travel. The other train can also be booked closer to the time at no extra cost.
The car to the airport on Thursday morning is all set too.
That leaves just the baseball game tickets to book. I've also got an opportunity to see the Jets @ 49ers NFL game on Monday evening - I'm considering what price limit to set for that, as that is quite high priced - and I'd have to travel down to Santa Clara, too.
